§     Participated as a member of an interdisciplinary research team in the conduct of the Impact Management Assessment Protocol / Illinois River Basin Project, funded by the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Science Foundation.  The goal of the project is to develop a management plan for the Illinois River Basin.  My specific responsibilities included the following:

§     Development of an expert model showing the various impacts to the Illinois River Basin (including physical, biological, economic, social, and political)

§     Work closely with Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission to obtain important information about the Illinois River Basin.

§     Interviewing of stakeholders and comparison of their knowledge of impacts to those represented in the expert model.

§     Assisting in development of a computerized visualization of the findings of the interdisciplinary team for education of stakeholders.

§     Assisting in preparation for meeting of relevant policymakers (local, state, and federal) to discuss policy options for the Illinois River Basin.
